Bezpieczeństwo w Meksyku
Meksyk nie jest niestety krajem bezpiecznym, nie tylko dla jego mieszkańców, ale także dla turystów. Na terenie całego kraju, zwłaszcza w dużych miastach i w skupiskach turystycznych, zdarzają się napady, również z bronią w ręku. Należy zatem unikać podróżowania nocą. To wszystko wymusza wzmożoną czujność władz wojskowych i policji. Głównie w stanie Chiapas trzeba się przygotować na częste kontrole dokumentów . W stolicy Meksyku lepiej nie zatrzymywać taksówek na ulicy, zdarzają się bowiem oszustwa.
